| $49.00 for this genuine indiginous blow-pipe |
This "gravatanas" or blow-pipe is 42 inches long
and was made by Indigenous people of Amazonia. It is made from the same natural materials as one used for
hunting. A "real hunting" blow-pipe used by Indigenous men with poison tipped darts is about three meters long.
The "real" darts (made from spines of the Patawa palm tree) are 15 to 18 inches long and covered with "curari" poison
for about 4 inches down from the tip and notched so as to break of in the wound. The darts in the picture are
about 9"long and of course contain no poison. The blowing tube is made from the hollowed out trunk of the Pashiuba
Miri palm tree. The price is $49.00 U.S. Dollars plus shipping.
