Arthur Oslund, president of Aristologic Inc., has a long outdoor history starting with camping in the Midwest at and early age and a canoe trip through the Superior National Forest Wilderness Area of northern Minnesota at the age of 12.  Arthur has climbed Mt. Rainer, Mt St Helens, Mt. Shasta and many more.  He has done white water rafting in West Virginia, Maryland, Colorado and Oregon.  Mr. Oslund has a B.S. degree in Horticulture from Iowa State University and a great love of botany and the outdoors.  He has always had a fascination with Brazil and the Amazon and first visited in 2003.  He has traveled to Belem, Santarem, Manaus and several tributaries of the Amazon.
