We organize photography,
birding, tropical fish, team building and nature expeditions from Manaus,
Brazil traveling by boat
to various destinations in Amazonia. The transportation (see pictures) includes local Brazilian cook, boat pilot
and licensed jungle guides. An experienced tour guide will accompany us throughout the
cruise. Travel through Amazon wilderness including camping, nature hikes, birdwatching, canoe rides,
night excursions, lectures and fishing. Explore some very remote areas and see some extremely interesting
wildlife. A paradise for those who like adventure with all the comfort of an all inclusive cruise.
We will explore the rainforest and learn how people live in these tropical lowlands, close encounters with
local tribes will allow us to have an insight into their way of life, traditions and cosmology. Native
guides will teach the use of medicinal plants.
Wildlife encounters are not guaranteed but it is possible to observe: Monkeys, Amazonian alligators, river dolphins,
manatees, river otters, jaguar, paca, agouti. Fish include the Arapima (up to 15 feet), catfish, piranha, electric
eels and many others. It is possible to see Anaconda and other snakes. Bird and insect life is abundant and include Araras,
parakeets, macaws, nightjars, hoatzins, jacanas, crakes, ibis, herons, kingfishers along with hundreds of species
of insects including large tarantula and beetles.
