Precautionary measures are required for travel in the Amazon.  It is a place for the adventurous who love wildlife and the outdoors.  It is helpful to have some outdoor experience and interest in biology to fully enjoy a visit to the Amazon Rain Forest.  Experience, however, is not necessary and you can bring the whole family.
